    • Gunners start with derby

Arsenal open their 2007/08 Premier League campaign with the first of many London derbies of the season against Fulham.

The big North London clash against Tottenham follows in September before Manchester United visit at the beginning of November to conclude a run of games which sees The Gunners face Bolton and Liverpool in successive weeks.

Chelsea and Tottenham are Arsenal's opponents at Emirates Stadium in the build-up to the Christmas period, which sees fixtures against Portsmouth, Everton and West Ham United.

As was the case earlier in the season Arsene Wenger sees his side face a stretch of games against Bolton, Liverpool and United in March and April, but with the small matter of a trip to Stamford Bridge tagged onto the front.

Arsenal finish the season at the Stadium of Light against Sunderland on 11th May.

    • it's a lousy fixture...

arsenal has bad habit of facing small clubs n ended up draw or lost. i rather face those big clubs first.

      Ewood Park
      Sun, Aug 19, 2007

Please note that our away Premier League fixture against Blackburn Rovers, originally dated for Saturday 18th August, has been rearranged due to Blackburn Rovers’ recent success in the Intertoto Cup (as a result of which they now have UEFA Cup commitments on Thursday 16th August).

The fixture will now be played as above.
